The devil and angel

Living in the nightmares, in the shelter of despair alone.
From the same race, yet shunned, his heart ached, a pain unknown
In solitude's embrace, he found solace's trace,
But her presence unveiled a yearning, a chase.

Her Light, like sun, his long pain did fade,
With her, a symphony, in his heart it played.
Her essential addition to his chapter, a token spun
But something was off, She was an unspoken sun.

The string of fate connected; destiny was written
He broke his own heart to pieces to mend her broken one.
He never stopped, the sanguine blood dropped
First time he craved something, as if the person was swapped.

Constant efforts he tried and tried, until the lake of hindrance dried.
Might be hurtful she cared and said, "your happiness is paramount", he replied

At the end they found their hearts bound in affection's inception.
This was the tale of an angel with torn wings
And a Devil searching for redemption.....
