Memories recollection

From afar, I stand in solitude, Observing flames, a life subdued.
Tears flow, a profound sorrow,
Stirring memories, my heart to borrow.
In those flames, a familiar face, A cherished soul, held in embrace.
Though departed to realms unknown, In my heart, his spirit is shown.
A gentle whisper in the night, Guides me through the darkest plight.
His laughter echoes, a distant song,
Reminding me where I belong.
With every star that lights the sky, I see his smile, I feel him nigh.
Though time may pass and seasons change,
The bond we share will never estrange.
In dreams, he visits, calm and bright, A beacon in the shadowed night.
His wisdom, like the morning dew, Refreshes me, renews what's true.
For in this world and the next to come, Our love remains, a steady drum.
So I stand, though tears may fall,
Uplifted by his silent call.
