Once upon a girl..

Prashasti Bais 2002 (Madhya Pradesh)

upon a time,
A girl was born
Into a circle full of
Obstructive boundaries,
Boundaries of face, boundaries of race
Boundaries of gender, which will always hinder
Into her dreams , into her screams,
Into her choices, suppressing her unsaid voices....
She somewhat survived through that phase
Of the court , decorated by us judgemental people,
Whether she shall live or die,
Whether they will listen her cry...
Now she grows up , adored by innocence
Pured by those hopefull eyes that she will
Fulfil all she wishes ,
She will fly like the birds and swim like the fishes..
But little did she know , that cage of stares
Even snatched her giggly happy shares..
She even survived those memories,
people define as childhood
But for her it was none less than prevention she could...
Now she really grew
Knowing her anatomy , knowing her boundaries
Knowing she's gonna face every fights which were all designed against her rights...
