Dear Sunday

Dear Sunday, come with early breeze
With a mild temperate sun
Breached with lavender incense
With a lovely bell that chime
And a smile, running down the face

Come with patience and with pace
And with prophecy running life's race
No bruises but with random perky day
Karma running through the time
If the day we say be yours' and mine

Give an afternoon full of job
And the launch your tummy can rob
Then the projects on and on
Until the evening brings another dusk
Make me able; a legacy that's must

And the evening that greets the day
And the tiredness fulfills the dusk grey
At home bring something to rejoice
Make happiness everyday's choice
And the night to spend with sleep; an ace in the dice

About this poem

A feeling when you are physically and emotionally drained throughout the weekend with sheer melancholy, it's an innocent yet blissful prayer.
