The constant lies,
The constant accusations,
And fake alibis.

One moment is great.
The next feels like the end.
Not sure how to feel.
Starting a fight again.

Battle scars run deep,
Hidden deep within my soul.
Their actions kill our kindness.
The lies take their toll.

The manipulative control never ceases.
Building stronger each day.
Nothing I do really matters.
They care nothing about words I say.

Believing their lies,
So I can feel a sense of peace.
Eventually breaks me down.
My happiness will forever cease.

Life with a narcissist is hard.
Many can agree.
You forget to love yourself.
Illusions are all you can see
