GOSPEL STILL TOLD

GOSPEL STILL TOLD

I'm not the greatest by far
I'm not some fame filled star
Just a guy with a gift for ryhme
And a message for all of time

Yeah this is all about my God
And shining His Light abroad
Tell the world of His Glory
His is the tale of History

From the Garden of Man's Fall.
From the Flood, to Abraham's Call
From Moses and the parting of the sea
To the Cross, where He died for me

That's the tale we are called to tell
Of the victory over the Power of Hell
And from the Cross pacing the way
To the tales we are to tell today

And the God we call on today
Guided Moses along His way
He faced the lions with Daniel
Same God is told in every tale

What an amazing thing
We are loved by Heaven's King
He still calls us to follow
The world is stiff and hallow

So don't follow Him just because I say
I'm just a man, Jesus Himself is the Way
Because Abraham's God says to come
You can walk free in the Lord's Kingdom

Maybe it's not a burning bush
But a still small voice, a tiny push
Follow this God, who's love doesn't end
Who's saved His people time and again

It's a message told by Paul
A Gospel being preached to all
I've been blessed to show it
Just the Gospel told by a poet
Amen
