Upon the pyres of tribute my body set
This cloak this shell of a life now spent
Collect my ashes lest mortals forget
Our time within no time to lament.

Onto the surf and sands my dust lay
Beneath the heavens speckled night
Where ebb and flow renew each day
And weep no more this journeys flight.

Sing songs in glory of days long past
Of battles won and heroes bitten
Of deeds and merits let trumpets blast
And sagas and tales be written.
