The Bone Dance

In shadows cast where silence weaves its thread,
The bone dance twirls in echoes of the night,
A haunting waltz where whispered dreams have fled.

With hollow eyes that shimmered once with dread,
They sway to rhythms lost from hope's sweet light,
In shadows cast where silence weaves its thread.

Their laughing bones speak stories left unsaid,
Each clattering step rebukes the day so bright;
A haunting waltz where whispered dreams have fled.

An ancient tune that calls the living dead,
As stars above blink softly out of sight;
In shadows cast where silence weaves its thread.

Through forgotten graves and pathways long since shed,
They leap beneath the moon’s unyielding bite—
A haunting waltz where whispered dreams have fled.

So gather near and hear what lies ahead:
The dance of bones is both a curse and rite;
In shadows cast where silence weaves its thread,
A haunting waltz where whispered dreams have fled.
