Beautiful
Beautiful, a word so pure
A concept that's ever so obscure
Is it something we can touch and feel
Or is it an image we create, surreal?
Is it the perfect symmetry of a face
Or the grace of a dancer's pace
Is it the vibrant colors of a sunset sky
Or the glow of a mother's love in her eye
Is it the smoothness of a flawless skin
Or the strength within that sparkles within
Is it the radiance of a joyful soul
Or the kindness that makes a person whole
Is it the crisp fall leaves on the ground
Or the blooming flowers all around
Is it the sound of a bird's sweet melody
Or the rhythm of the rushing sea
Is it the grandness of a mountain's peak
Or the serenity of a hidden creek
Is it the stillness of a starry night
Or the sense of wonder, taking flight
Beautiful, a word with endless meanings
A word that's constantly revealing
It's in the little things we often forget
But it's also in the moments we'll never regret
It's the wrinkles on a grandfather's face
And the tiny fingers of a newborn's grace
It's the laughter shared with dear friends
And the strength that comes from mending ends
It's the scars that tell a story
And the imperfections, adding glory
It's the uniqueness in each and every one
That makes us all shine like the sun
Beautiful, a word that's not just skin deep
But a feeling that weaves and seeps
Into our hearts and souls, forever to stay
In a world where beauty can't be defined in any way
So let your heart be your mirror
And your soul be your guide
For beauty lies within us all
Just look inside and you'll find
That you are beautiful, just as you are
A masterpiece, a shining star
So embrace your flaws and all your scars
For you are beautifully, wonderfully, and uniquely ours.
