If I could
This is me expressing my wishes and all the things I would do if I could
Me stressing the point that if I had enough control and power I would
Do all, every little thing not only what I should
If wishes could be granted I could
Say some words to the younger me
Time travel to the time when I was six
The time when I had and was scared of my own dreams
When I would close my eyes and depict several pics of me on trips
If I could I would go back
I would tell the younger me that this world is so real, very real and there is no such thing as there is only one limit and that is the sky
Tell him that they will say one is only held back by their own mind and that is a lie
That there is a time when no matter how many times you try
There are some things that thee will pray for but with God and Gods they just don't align
That you will attempt time and time till your demise
I would tell that kid, that king, be wise
If I could I would bring back my mother
Maybe forever, maybe just for another, day or more of those just so she could witness I in that gown
So she could pick me up like she did all the times her son was down
Just so I could be loved unconditionally
Just to have a cheerleader and someone who is rooting for me and not tell me I need to think, dream rationally
If I could I would get rid of all the scars on my wrist that daily I wish I could conceal
For I get tired of explaining and I hate the fact that I have to reveal
The things that I did when I told myself I am done with this world and this life and I just want to leave
If I could, only if I could.
About this poem
This talks about the pain I feel when I have wishes. When I wish I had power and could turn back the times. I live with belief that what happened was supposed to happen and have no regrets, but I'm only human and we all have one of those days.
