Chosen few
Chosen are the few
Among the hoards of men
Rallying to the cry of others
Often to the end
Let us not forget
Sacrifices that were made
Man’s humanity for man
Is the only way
To heal the wounds and battle scars, of
Heroes fierce and brave
About this poem
One of many acrostic style poems I have written. I usually would write them for friends as a special gift or those that didn't believe I can write my own poetry. This one has a dual purpose as it was written for a coworker on that day 9-11-2001
