Shadow in the Corner

(Verse 1)
Behind a smiling face, darkness resides
Manipulation unfolds, with calculated strides
Reputation tarnished, in plain sight
Fueling shame, under false light
A hidden agenda, with every move

(Chorus)
Pain and pleasure, a twisted game
Watching struggles, with a hidden aim
Breaking spirits, with every fall
A silent sabotage, standing tall
In the shadows, where love should be

(Verse 2)
Favorites rise, with sponsored praise
While others fade, in shaded gaze
Growth constrained, with every step
Stagnation feeds, a toxic breath
A soul suffocating, in endless night

(Chorus)
Pain and pleasure, a twisted game
Watching struggles, with a hidden aim
Breaking spirits, with every fall
A silent sabotage, standing tall
In the shadows, where love should be

(Bridge)
But still we rise, with every test
Resilience shines, and darkness rests
Strength prevails, through every pain
And in the light, love will remain
Breaking chains, and finding rest
Free from shadows, we'll find our best.
