The Sound Of Silence
When the world is full of violence,
and you feel like you are trapped.
Just go to where there is silence.
A beautiful place that isn't mapped.
This place can be located anywhere,
as long as you are willing to find
that the sound of silence will be there,
even if it's inside your own mind.
I always believed it had no sound,
and it troubled me to no end.
But now in life, I have finally found
the serenity that has become my friend.
Silence is the sound of peace.
No matter what is going on in this life.
So seek it whenever you need release
from the stress that has become so rife.

This piece was inspired by the peace and tranquility of silence in my life.
