Strong Black Men Beguiled
In the midst of a world so cold
There stand strong black men, beguiled and bold
Their skin, a canvas of deep ebony
A symbol of resilience, a mark of nobility
With broad shoulders and chiseled frame
They walk with a sense of pride, not shame
Their eyes, like pools of liquid gold
Reflecting the stories that they hold
From the struggles of their ancestors
To the triumphs of their present endeavors
Their scars tell tales of battles won
Their strength, an embodiment of the sun
They've been belittled, oppressed and denied
Yet they stand tall, with heads held high
For they know their worth, they know their might
They are strong black men, a powerful sight
Their lips speak words of wisdom and grace
Their voice, a melody that fills the space
They have a way of commanding attention
With a mere presence, they evoke admiration
But beneath the surface, lies a deeper truth
A vulnerability, a burden of proof
For they are also human, with hearts that feel
The weight of the world, the scars that never heal
They've been labeled as thugs and dangerous
But that's just a label, imposed by the envious
For they possess a spirit that cannot be tamed
A fire that burns, a strength that can't be claimed
They are fathers, brothers, sons, and lovers
Protectors, providers, and healers, they discover
The power within, to rise above
And against all odds, their hearts still remain full of love
Their strength is not just physical
It's the resilience that's so spiritual
It's the courage to persevere and rise
In a world that constantly tries
To break them, to strip them of their essence
But they stand strong, with unwavering persistence
For they know the beauty that lies within
Their blackness, their strength, their melanin
So let us not be beguiled by the lies
And see the truth beyond the disguise
For strong black men are a force to be reckoned
An embodiment of greatness, a diamond that's beckoned
They are a reflection of the divine
A testament to the power of mankind
So let us celebrate their strength, their grace
And see the beauty in their beguiling face.
