Echoes in the void.

Here we are, floating in this boundless expanse.

Each of us, like stars in the vastness,
Shining in our own unique way,
Yet somehow all the same.

I watch them—some bright, others dim,
Some flicker and fade
Drifting in their orbits,
Each in its own state,
But always moving, always fleeting.

In this endless universe,
Are we not all just echoes of the same emptiness?

It’s as if time itself is a repeating cycle of nothingness,
Where even the stars eventually burn out,
Fading into the cold void.

I wonder if the stars ever question their own light,
Or if they simply shine until they can’t anymore.

Is it the unknown that drives us to seek meaning?

Or is it the knowledge of something, however fleeting,
That offers solace amidst the emptiness?

We find beauty in the brief glimmers,
In the way our own light dances with the shadows,
Even as we fear the unknown.

Maybe it’s not about finding answers,
But about embracing the search itself.

In the end, are we not all just echoes in the void? drifting together.
