Salems Lot ( Part 2 )

In a small New England town, nestled among the trees
Lies a place where darkness reigns, where fear forever feeds
It's called Salem's Lot, a haunting name indeed
Where the night is long and the secrets all breed
The streets are quiet, as if holding their breath
As the moon's pale light casts a haunting silhouette
On the old, Victorian houses, standing tall and still
Their windows boarded up, a sign of impending ill
For this is a town that's cursed, by a darkness unknown
Whispered tales of witches and spirits that roam
In the shadows, lurking, always watching the town
Waiting for the perfect time to bring it all down
The wind howls through the streets, a mournful sound
As the darkness descends, the terror all around
And the people of Salem's Lot, they hide away
Locking their doors, praying for the dawn of day
But there's one who's not afraid, who walks with grace
A woman who's bound by the town's haunting embrace
She wanders the quiet streets, with a torch in hand
A brave soul, determined to take a stand
With hair as black as night, and eyes that shine like stars
She's a witch, some say, with power that scars
But to the people of Salem's Lot, she's their only hope
Against the darkness that lurks, with its claws to grope
She knows the secrets of this town, for she's been here long
A guardian of Salem's Lot, her love for it strong
For even in its darkest hour, she sees the beauty still
The eerie stillness, the chill that gives her thrill
As she walks, she senses a presence, a familiar one
A dark energy, creeping, under the moon's pale sun
She follows it, fearless, to an old abandoned house
Where the secrets of Salem's Lot, it would soon arouse
Inside, she finds a gathering, of creatures of the night
They hiss and growl, as they prepare to take flight
But she stands tall, her torch held high
Chanting ancient spells, her powers they defy
A battle ensues, of magic and might
As the creatures of darkness try to take flight
But the witch of Salem's Lot, she fights with all her will
Determined to defeat the evil, to finally fulfill
And as the dawn breaks, the creatures flee
Leaving the witch standing, in victory
But she knows it's not over, for the darkness remains
But she's the protector of Salem's Lot, and she'll always remain
For in this town, where darkness reigns
The witch of Salem's Lot, her power remains
To keep the secrets at bay, and the fear at bay
In this small town, where the night forever stays
So if you ever find yourself, in Salem's Lot
Don't be afraid, for the witch is there, to give you support
In the darkness, she'll guide you, with her torch in hand
And in this town of secrets, you'll come to understand.
