Through With You ( Part 3 )

Through with you, my heart now knows
The pain and hurt that endlessly flows
A love once strong, now has been broken
The winds of change, have left words unspoken
The days of laughter, now seem distant
As I recall your touch, I feel resistant
For every kiss and embrace we shared
Now seems like a dream, so unfair
I look around and see the memories
Of you and I, bittersweet melodies
Our love once bloomed like a spring flower
But now it wilts, with every passing hour
Your eyes were once my guiding light
But now they bring darkness, blinding my sight
The promises we made, now seem so hollow
As I watch my heart, painfully wallow
The music we danced to, now a distant tune
The laughter we shared, now a broken balloon
The love we thought was unbreakable
Now seems fragile, so vulnerable
I thought we were meant to be forever
But now it's clear, our love was never
Strong enough to withstand the test of time
And now I see it was all just a rhyme
I used to think our love was pure
But now I see, it was just a lure
A trap I fell into, so easily
Blinded by love, I couldn't see
But now I'm through with you, my dear
I've shed my last tear, let go of my fear
I've learned to stand on my own two feet
And I'm moving on, with a heart that's complete
No longer will I hold onto the past
For I know now, our love could never last
I'll spread my wings, and fly so high
And leave behind all the tears I've cried
Through with you, I've found my strength
And I'll no longer let your memory length
For I deserve a love that's true
And I know now, it will never be with you
I'll paint a new picture, with brighter hues
And leave behind all the shades of blue
I'll dance to a new beat, with a smile on my face
For I'm through with you, and I've found my grace
No more will I hold onto the pain
For I know now, it was all in vain
I'll embrace the future, with open arms
And I'll never look back, at your empty charms
Through with you, I've learned to love myself
And put my heart back on the shelf
Until someone comes along, who's deserving
Of my love, and is willing to keep it flourishing
So farewell, my dear, it's time to say goodbye
I'm moving on, and I won't even try
To hold onto a love that's no longer there
For I'm through with you, and I no longer care.
