Black Moth Attack
In the dead of night, they came creeping,
Whispers of chaos, slowly seeping,
Silence disrupted, terror rising,
Wings of darkness, around me circling.
Black moths, they swarmed with ferocity,
Eager for blood, with such tenacity,
Their beady eyes, glinting in the moonlight,
A sight so eerie, a fear-inducing sight.
With every beat of their wings I quiver,
As my heart races, a frantic shiver,
I try to run, to escape their grasp,
But they're everywhere, in an endless mass.
Their tiny bodies, a deceptive size,
For what they lack, they make up in guise,
Their tiny fangs, sharp as a knife,
Ready to pierce, to end my life.
As they land, their wings create a sound,
A haunting melody, echoing around,
Their midnight choir, a symphony of fear,
As I pray for someone, anyone to hear.
But no one comes, for I am alone,
Trapped in this nightmare, made of flesh and bone,
Their numbers increasing, their hunger growing,
My fears consuming, my strength slowing.
I feel their touch, like a thousand knives,
As they feast on me, with their ravenous lives,
Their black wings, now stained with my blood,
As they revel in this macabre flood.
And as they feast, I slip away,
Into a dreamless sleep, I begin to sway,
Their attack relentless, their hunger not sated,
As I lay there, broken and desecrated.
But in the midst of this black moth attack,
A glimmer of hope, I see at last,
A flash of light, a ray of hope,
As the darkness starts to slowly elope.
The sun rises, and the moths flee,
Leaving behind, this scene of misery,
But as I lay here, in this state of despair,
I can't help but feel, that they'll soon be back, in the air.
For these black moths, they're not done yet,
They'll keep coming back, no matter my bet,
And as I lay here, with my wounds to tend,
I know that this nightmare, will never truly end.
For the black moths, they'll always be near,
With their piercing screams, and their endless fear,
They'll always haunt me, in my waking dreams,
For I am forever, their midnight feast it seems.
So let this be a warning, to all who hear,
Of the black moth attack, that will always be near,
For once they come, they'll never let go,
So beware, and pray, that you never see their show.
