Find Your Own Identity

In this world, so vast and wide
Where we all seek our own place to reside
Amidst the chaos and the noise
We search for a voice, our own unique poise
Amidst the pressure to conform
We yearn to break free from the norm
To stand out, to shine bright
And find our own source of delight
For identity is more than just a name
It's a mosaic of experiences, like a never-ending game
It's a journey of self-discovery
A path we must all traverse with bravery
Like a puzzle, we piece ourselves together
With every trial, we become stronger and better
Each imperfection, a beautiful part
Of the masterpiece that is our heart
As we go through life, we change and grow
We shed old layers, to let our true selves show
We embrace our quirks, our flaws and fears
For they make us who we are, and that's what truly endears
So let go of society's expectations
And listen to your heart's own vibrations
For only you can define your own identity
And shine with your own unique authenticity
Like a butterfly breaking out of its cocoon
We too must break free from the world's gloom
To spread our wings and take flight
And bask in the beauty of our individual light
For some, it may come easy, a natural flow
But for others, the journey may be slow
But trust in yourself, and you'll soon see
The true beauty of your own identity
You are not just a drop in the ocean
But a ripple that creates a majestic motion
Your thoughts, your dreams, your desires
Are the sparks that fuel your inner fire
So don't be afraid to be different, to stand out
To go against the crowd, without a doubt
For in your uniqueness, lies your true power
To make an impact, to bloom and flower
Be proud of who you are, and where you come from
For each story, each culture, adds to the sum
Of your identity, like a rich tapestry
Woven with love, and endless diversity
From the color of your skin, to the sound of your voice
To the choices you make, and the paths you rejoice
Every little detail, makes you one of a kind
A treasure to be cherished, a diamond to find
So embrace yourself, with open arms
And let go of any self-doubt or qualms
For you are enough, just as you are
A shining star, in this universe so bizarre
As you wander through life, and face its ups and downs
Remember to stay true, to your own unique crown
For your identity is a gift, a blessing to hold
And it's up to you, to let it unfold.
So find your own identity, in this world so vast
And let it bloom, as you leave the past
For you are the author of your own story
And your identity, your own personal glory.
