The Olympians ( Version 1 )
In a realm of grandeur and might
Where gods reside in glorious sight
Lies a mount of eternal grace
Where the Olympians claim their space
Atop the summit, a throne stands tall
Carved from marble, it towers above all
With lightning bolts as its mighty crown
And thunder echoes as it looks down
The heavens sing praises to this divine place
Where the Olympians reign in godly grace
Poseidon, the ruler of the seas
With a trident in hand, and storms at ease
Hera, the queen of the sky
With peacock feathers, she catches the eye
Her presence commands both fear and awe
For she is the keeper of holy law
The god of war, Ares, roams free
His armor glinting, ready to be
In battle, his strength knows no bounds
For bloodshed and victory, his heart resounds
Elegant and wise, Athena stands strong
With an owl by her side, she rights every wrong
Goddess of wisdom, her mind sharp and keen
She basks in the glory of all she has seen
Hermes, the messenger of the gods
With winged sandals, he swiftly trods
His laughter echoes through the skies
As he delivers their messages, without any guise
In the realm of love, Aphrodite reigns
With beauty unmatched, her power remains
Her golden locks and alluring charm
Captivating hearts, causing love to swarm
With a bow in hand, Artemis roams
Protector of nature, the goddess of home
The forests sing to her, birds in flight
As she shines in the glow of the moon's soft light
Apollo, the god of music and art
His lyre sings, to capture every heart
His divine voice, a heavenly choir
He brings joy to all, with his celestial fire
Helios, the god of the sun
In his chariot, he races, never undone
His radiance spreads, warming the earth
As he reigns over day, in all his worth
Demeter, the goddess of harvest and grain
In her fields, she toils, ignoring all pain
The earth flourishes, with every step she takes
And nature sings, as she gives and she makes
Hades, the lord of the dark
In the underworld, his power sparks
With a helmet of invisibility, he moves unseen
Guardian of the souls, for eternity keen
Together they rule, in harmony and might
The Olympians, in their heavenly sight
Their realm, a sanctuary of divine power
Filling mortals' hearts, every hour
But as the ages pass, and the world changes pace
The Olympians' realm fades, with every new place
Yet their legacy lives on, in tales of old
Their godly feats, forever told
So let us raise our voices high
In honor of the Olympians' reign in the sky
For in their realm of grandeur and might
Lies a beauty that will forever ignite.
