Where is the World Going

In the quiet of the night,I ponder,
Where is the world going,I wonder?
Through the chaos and the noise,
Seeking peace,amidst the joys.

The rivers flow,the mountains stand,
Yet,we question, hand in hand.
Technology races,hearts grow cold,
Stories of the future,yet untold.

Children's laughter,a fleeting sound,
In a world where hope is found,
Nature's beauty,a fleeting glance,
In the dance of life's expanse.

Where is the world going,we ask,
Behind each smile,a hidden mask.
Yet in the darkness, light we find,
In the kindness of humankind.

So let us walk, with hearts aglow,
Into the future,let love flow.
For where the world is going,
We decide,With every step, side by side.
