Each Year That Passes

Each year that passes,
We gather together.
With family,
Friends and business associates
To pray and ask for the Lord's blessing.
As we count down the days left.
Hoping when the New year arrives.
That we make the best resolutions.
Wanting them wished to survive,
At least until Spring.
To give us something to complain about.
Each year that begins,
Hoping creditors unpaid...
Attempt to understand,
How precious holidays are to prioritize.
Than promises made to bill collectors,
Calling every few days to await...
For a payment claimed to have sent,
As if to pray to God for lieing...
Is enough to be forgiven by,
A listening bill collector.
Who knows each lie told documented,
Throughout each year anticipating tears!

'And...uh,
We can expect your sent payment,
To arrive when?'

'Hold on.
What a coincidence.
The mailman just came.
I'll ask him.
He's in a better position to know that,
Than I am!'

'Is this another lie you're telling me?'

'Hmmm...
I hadn't thought about that.
Hold on a second.
One never knows.
I'll ask for his I.D.'

Another gem Lawrence…In my case I got thrown in jail for 68 days and before I was my low credit score was 777 and my high was in the 820 range…After my misfortune my low is in the 590’s and my high is in the 630 range…I guess I’m not as fortunate as Donul Dump who wrote off over a billion and was allowed to keep his golden crappers and such and had credit the next day…Only in America where the working man has to wait 7-10 years to get back on track…
