Best friends to strangers
Best friends to strangers
What do you think is the most dangerous? Tightrope walking or stranded in the ocean? No, it’s when best friends become stranger us. Two blue ties talking, garnering the motion, just to leave one another deserted, tears fall for the lack of emotion. What happened to our fairy tale notion when we swore we will be friends for life? Now you’ve left, I’ve left, endanger us, endanger our strives.
From best friends to strangers, that’s the chapter of our life. Or should I say lives since we have separated, part ways with trife. There’s no use in trying, there’s nothing left to the denying, it’s all because of some sick lie. I gaze upon the sky and wish for merry and jolly like we used to so we can lay and die by each other’s side. I have your fears that you used to lie, and you have mine that I try to hide, do as you please with that information, I’ll keep yours hidden in a bunker basement, cause I don’t do defamation, as those best friends are the ones that are writing strangers.
I hope you have the answer to the conundrums that you’re fighting for, I’ll figure mine out somehow while I’m writing those, the rues, woes and dismays may heal and you will be whole, I aspire the hues of this poem stick to your soul like a ray of sunlight fighting its way in a dark hole full of mirrors, an insurmountable deal. I write this for you with nothing but love, deeply, brought to you from my sodden soul. I hope you find the peace you’ve been fighting for since forever, the cold nights will knit you a warm and cozy sweater since such souls are found never. Went from best friends to strangers,
Love, Thavisha.

A poem about high school friends, who became strangers as we progress through life. I wish nothing but the best for them.
