Vampire

Masked in kindness you appear
Freshly dewed like roses on a spring morning
Polite and reserved, tiptoeing just enough
A god of adaptation

Thorough above all else
You finish your commencing, drawing out of me
Like an orgasm
The obsession you unknowingly craved

You plucked but all my feathers whilst silently grinning
Observing your work with the majesty you exude
Trivial matters in your world of four leaved clovers

Play with my innards some more and gut me at last
I am aware of the insufficiency
My soul that drips from your fangs incessantly
Cannot possibly be suitable feed

Manifest in me your desire and put me out of my misery
I’ll oblige yet again without being given choice
Staring at you in the oblique
Deep I grasp into your marrow
