The Woman In Blue

"She really is a beauty isn’t she?"

I couldn’t help but think as I watched the woman twirl about

Her movements delicate and graceful,
poetic in ways I couldn’t explain

A beautiful dark blue dress hugged her,

And when she looked at me, my heart would stop

Tears would leak out of my eyes and her allure would engulf me

Leaving me victim to my own thoughts

She seemed to withdraw all of the color from the world

Made it look bleak and lifeless

In comparison to her small smile and light voice

I think I’ve fallen for her

This woman named depression
