Wait

I don’t know where I fit anymore without you in my life. I will never let you be just a memory in my mind. Inside my heart there is an empty room I am holding on; I am needing you.

I love you more then life itself.

The space between us causes the pain that we feel. Although we think we are hurting, it just reminds us that we are alive. Inside the absence the heart grows stronger, it is now or never, because I will not wait forever.

I have never broken a promise before and now is not the time to start. I promised that I would find you again, all I need is to follow my heart. I wish the world would stop so that we could be together soon. But you know that I will not give up and have faith that I will find you soon.

I will move the sky, I will move the sea, I will move heaven and earth to be where you are. I will be where you are, just do not let go and wait for me. Just wait for me I promise I will not be long. Just wait for me and keep our dream alive.

Just do not wake up or our dream will be lost.

About this poem

It wasn't a dream until I saw him cheat on me, then it made sense.

Tanya Klaric

Poetry is the voice of my soul, mirror of my mind, spilling emotions into verses, capturing my journey in ink. My poetry speaks the words that I can't say. I hope my readers can sense the love, hope, strength and loss I have felt throughout my life so far. more…
