Scarecrow ( Part 2 )

Scarecrow, scarecrow, standing still
Amidst the fields, on the old farmer's hill
With your ragged clothes and straw-filled head
You stand guard over the crops, no need for dread
Your arms stretched wide, like a welcoming hug
But your presence instills a mysterious tug
For you are not alive, yet not quite dead
A symbol of protection, or so it is said
Scarecrow, scarecrow, made of hay
A sentinel of autumn, come what may
With your button eyes and crooked smile
You watch over the fields, mile by mile
From dawn till dusk, you never move
Yet the creatures of the night, you seem to prove
That you are more than just a mere effigy
A guardian of the harvest, for all to see
Scarecrow, scarecrow, in the summer heat
You stand tall, in your patchwork seat
With crows and sparrows perched on your arm
You are a haven, a shelter safe from harm
Your tattered hat, a symbol of wisdom
A silent observer, in a world of chaos and mayhem
As the sun beats down, upon your frame
You remain steadfast, without any shame
Scarecrow, scarecrow, in the autumn breeze
You sway and rustle, among the trees
With the changing leaves, you blend right in
As if nature herself, has made you her kin
The pumpkins, the corn, the golden wheat
All around you, a harvest so sweet
You stand tall, a part of the land
A symbol of hard work, by the farmer's hand
Scarecrow, scarecrow, when the night falls
You come to life, amidst the calls
Of the nocturnal creatures, that prowl around
But your presence, they do not dare to bound
For you are the guardian, of the farmer's pride
Their livelihood, on which they rely
With your outstretched arms and watchful eyes
You keep the pests away, to everyone's surprise
Scarecrow, scarecrow, in the winter cold
You stand alone, in a barren world
But your purpose remains, as steadfast as ever
A protector of the fields, now and forever
The snow may cover you, in a blanket white
But your spirit remains, an eternal sight
For you are more than just a scarecrow
You are the keeper of the land, a steadfast hero
Scarecrow, scarecrow, with your humble frame
You embody the essence, of a simpler time and age
When hard work and dedication, were all that mattered
And a scarecrow was more than just a figure scattered
So, stand tall scarecrow, in your patchwork guise
A symbol of strength, against the changing skies
For you are more than just a mere effigy
You are the embodiment, of a farmer's legacy.
