If Apple Bottoms Are Too Bland ( Series 2 )

If apple bottoms are too bland to be savored
Then what is it that we truly desire?
Something more vibrant, with a burst of flavor
A taste that sets our souls on fire
Perhaps it is the juicy peach's curve
Or the mango's succulent sweetness
But even those, at times, can lose their verve
Leaving our cravings in a state of incompleteness
So if not the apple, or the peach, or the mango
What fruit can truly satisfy?
Is there something out there that we don't yet know?
A hidden gem waiting to catch our eye?
Let's search beyond the orchards and fields
Into a realm that is wild and untamed
Where the fruit is unique and its flavor yields
A sensation that cannot be restrained
In the depths of the jungle, there is a tree
With a fruit that beckons with its call
Its skin as black as night, yet oh so free
Filled with mysteries and secrets, standing tall
The durian, they call it, a peculiar sight
With sharp spines and a pungent smell
But don't let its appearance give you a fright
For its taste is where true beauty dwell
Cut through the thick skin, reveal the flesh
Picking up the pieces, it's like a treasure hunt
One bite, and you'll feel your senses refresh
A symphony of flavors, a melody to confront
The sweetness of custard, the creaminess of cheese
The tang of pineapple, and the richness of cream
A burst of flavors, each one to please
A culinary masterpiece, like a dream
With every bite, the durian takes you on a ride
A journey through tastes, both familiar and strange
Its complexity, one that you cannot hide
For it's a fruit that refuses to be tamed
So if apple bottoms are too bland to be savored
Let the durian be your salvation
A fruit so unique, its taste to be treasured
In a league of its own, without hesitation
As you savor the durian, let its flavor seep
Into every corner of your being
Let its essence fill you, let your senses leap
For this fruit is a gift, a true blessing
From the depths of the jungle, to our tables it comes
A fruit that breaks the norms and breaks the mold
So let's embrace its uniqueness, let's beat the drums
For the durian is a fruit to behold
And as we indulge in its succulent taste
Let us remember the lesson it teaches
That sometimes, what we deem as too bland to be placed
Is actually the one that truly reaches
So here's to the durian, let's raise our glass
To a fruit that is truly one of a kind
Let's savor it slowly, let the moment last
For in this fruit, our taste buds we shall find.
