George

I met you yesterday
Something about you caught my eye
Maybe it is my vanity

Another pretty face to look at
Or perhaps another soul to admire

Your trembling hands
Reminded me of mine

Whatever it maybe
I hope you find a calm for your nerves
As I have set out to find mine

Maybe it was the concern that drew me in
As I have started to become weary to care

You’re welcome to see
You’re welcome to look
Maybe it will be another part of the book

There are faces that seem familiar to me
Like we have met in the past
Amd yours was one of them

Careful who you trust
Watch your back as they say
Because some are just out to play
