A Complicated Life

A simple breath, a heavy weight,
A heart that bends but will not break.
The past still lingers, raw and rough,
Yet somehow, I am strong enough.

Twists and turns, the tangled threads,
Memories haunt, but hope still spreads.
Love and loss, both etched in time,
A fragile dance, a steep incline.

Laughter echoes, shadows fall,
Some days I rise, some days I crawl.
Yet in the chaos, in the strife,
There’s beauty in a complicated life.
