A destiny call

I reached an end. Make do
I touched a silhouette. Opened view
Dreams of white picket fences overdue

It's time, I now give up

Hard work brought me here
I wait patiently every year
Success! At last a final tear

It's time I now give up

Resistance,  proved a suitable defense
Arms weak, fall limp, need rest
A smile, grin. A familiar pretense

It's time, I now give up

Seek out my long term goal
In my purpose, lies my hidden soul
If you follow,  avoid many dark deep holes

It's time, I now give up
