La Blanchisseuse du Paradis

Au son de musiques étranges
De harpes et de clavecins,
Tandis que flottent par essaims
Les cantiques et les louanges,

Elle blanchit robes et langes
Dans l’eau bénite des bassins,
Au son de musiques étranges
De harpes et de clavecins.

Et les bienheureuses phalanges
Peuvent la voir sur des coussins
Repassant les surplis des saints
Et les collerettes des anges,
Au son de musiques étranges.
