A couple of happy hearts
What is this that has just happened to me?
Was it karma, god, or perhaps just destiny
That has put me with the goddess of the heart of this man?
Oh how vulnerable I am, for she holds my heart in her hands.
And such gentle and soft hands are these which hold up my heart.
Yet my heart may explode if it and her hands ever depart.
For she has nurtured and cared for it, just like a mother.
She's the only guardian of my heart, there can be no other.
Fragile are hearts, but completely happy am I
For I love her, and she loves me; her name has become my battle cry
In the struggle I take every day to triumph over the turmoil of the earth
Love, my friends, triumphs over all. It is an emotional and mental rebirth.
Emotions and thoughts run wild; which is how this poem is being written now.
For when the heart is warm and happy, life and poetry's existence is allowed.
Oh how she has touched my tender heart. She's the one thing I adore.
She has taught me that love can be so strong, it can end famine, poverty, and even war
For love is God's manifestation within man
And why humans can't love more is something right now I can't understand.
I know saying “I love you” out of nowhere must have felt like a bomb.
But now I am at peace with myself and my God. Now, I am completely calm.
When you said “I love you too,” it came as such a surprise
To a guy like I had just won the world's greatest prize.
A woman's love is a gift not to abuse.
I promise I will protect thee from all. I'd rather give up my right arm than hurt you.
I have become so infatuated by the words 5 hours ago came from thy lips
And how all else has been blocked out, similar to the sun in a solar eclipse.
You are the only thing on my mind right now; I admit, obsessive that is to say.
But I won't deny what I have felt the past couple of days.
Being with you forever; a scary thought that is not!
You have just totally occupied my heart, which is a very special spot.
As this poem finally draws to a close, there's one thing I must say.
I would gladly follow thee to the ends of the earth. I would follow you until my last day…
