What a day,
This day for me,
You’re here to stay,
But you’re acting curiously.
Yes, it’s been a long while
Since you struck me there,
When I saw you smile
I knew you would care.
Perhaps I’m getting older,
more in tune to my thoughts,
Surely, I’m becoming colder,
As things are changing lots.
With you I can still be,
Though it might not be the same,
I am very different, you see,
And I you cannot tame.
