A Love Poem for the Earth
Today I view the world with joy,
A kid with a new toy,
Though this day is strange and odd,
For my life I must thank God.
How amazing the world is to me,
From a seed grows a tree.
The people make it even more grand,
Even after their hurtful demands.
Mesmerizing, as I describe the Earth,
Who cares for what it’s all worth?
Just appreciate the stars and sky,
Don’t let it all pass on by.
