Bed

This ground possessed
Grim restlessness
Sound, Just bed
of the silent chest

Trees may grow
beyond their glow
From there
the leaves fall like snow
into silence
into dust
unfed by a luscious source
that which determines it's course
and by time's chaotic lenience
the leaves plummet to Venus

The earth is one sphere
that these swaying air-cutters
Must escape to escape eternity

Trees may grow
but leaves die
unknown
Into the wilderness of space
Rather than a smothered, blank face
