Betrayal

First...
My soul secrets told
To the one I most trusted
Should there be a doubt?
Then...
Delicious to see
Yet to taste it's disgusting
Worms in the apple
Next...
Strangled till breathless
By the "boa constrictor"
Unseen in tall grass.
Last...
Never expected
Like a rock in a snowball
Betrayal just hurts.

Wow. This was a deeply felt poem. The words and analogies conveyed deep meaning. Nicely done.
