Enlightenment

Watching, waiting as the opportunities rise,
Climb alone and see the shadows as you go,
Ride the wave of inhibition to the fore,
Tread the air as the waters start to flow.

Swiftly over to horizons gently float,
Mind the castles long surrounded by their moat,
Touch the turrets, structures angled in their way,
Reconcile the passage made within the fray.

Visions, trances, paths familiar-- days between,
To a spirit seeking levels yet unseen,
Rapturous phases passed throughout the astral climb,
Leveling out to a state of mind sublime. . .
