From God

From God,

I am going to follow you through boughs of willows weeping.
Where the trail splits, and you take the one with rays of yellow golden dew.
But, I'll still follow even though the path is rough it leads straight to you.
It's the feeling of unknown gazing eyes that peer deep into you're soul.

I can feel you're prayers no matter where you go...

I am going to follow you through the red-berried holly shrubs.
Where the path gives the scents of where wild lilies stand and flow.
And the sun rarely peeks through, but they flourish white as snow.
Its like the spring in the winter, they're green with dozens of blooms.

I can feel you're touch, no matter how long or how soon...

I am going to follow you through the woods of redwood giants.
So old, the bark so thick and rich, like soaked pure of devotion.
When they die, and fall, they are saddened with respectful emotion.
They can see you through their wisdom, and gleaming brown eyes.

I can feel you from millions of passersby...

I am going to follow you to the nights of day, and the day of nights.
Where the oranges, pairs, and apples, all grow on one tree.
Like the sweetness of honey, and the swarming sting of bees.
But I will still follow you through thick and thin, to be by your side...

In the name of the father, you will never be left alone to cry.

Yvonne Sensing

I've been writing since I was a kid...I enjoy putting thoughts onto paper it's like clearing out my mind. I'm not saying I'm good, but I try. Still I write, but the thoughts in my head get jumbled and it all comes out wrong. I know what I want to say, I hope it comes out that way. Anyway, I still write maybe to leave a little piece of me behind. Not here to cause trouble or be a hero. I am a kind person with a big heart and I only do what makes me feel good. Poetry happens to make me very happy and joyful. Sharing my most inner thoughts makes me a target it seems, with folks that don't like me. I assure I am not a hater, but I will stand up for myself for what's right and true. This site has made me feel like were all family and here for each other not a place to bicker and fight among us, but to enjoy each others work with respect and love. Please understand I am not here to cause problems, I am here for the same reasons you are. more…
