I've Got Your Number

I've got you by my side, oh I want you all the time. Sun sets go down while we are together.
What I see couldn't get any clearer, like a window that I can see right through. But what I see inside you is that warm place of love.

I know life is hard but at least we've got each other, while we sit here together.
So let our troubles drift away into that setting sun. Lets take the time to reach out to each other, oh I got your number.

Each day I think of you, but those memories that we had I miss the most. So why not give you call, I know I will always have you number always and forever.

I've got a place for you in my heart, but this long distance is getting to hard to handle. Got your picture hanging my wall, oh I remember the times that we had.

It was oh so fun spending time in the sun, we had the time of our life until it came to an end. But hey I still got your number.

Max Hornbogen

My name is Max D. Hornbogen and I live in Marquette Michigan all my life. When I started writing it was during my brothers graduation from high school. I really don't know the year. Now I am 22 years old, while I was growing up my dad died in a car accident during the winter. Some of my pomes are about him, a lot of my others ones are personal. Most of them deal with everyday life and the struggles that I deal with. Also some of them are kind of dark, but I do have a wide variety of everything. The one thing that I love the most out of my writing is that it is an outlet, it's like my own world. I get to say whatever I want. I love music of all kinds, also it's another reason I love writing my poems. I always study lyrics by other music artist that are out there. Also I got to have music on while I write my poems.I have been writing 5 years so far more…
