Not so very small.

My body type may be not so very small.
I would be skinny, if I were just six feet tall.
But it doesn't take away my beauty at all!!!

Why as a society, can't we see past the depth of our skin?
To see the beauty of our soul, and the state that it's in.
Where have we failed each other, oh where do we begin?

The beauty of our soul, is worth so much more.
It's radiant beams, can knock us to the floor.
Take a look inside, there's much more to adore.

The beauty on the outside, it is only skin deep.
It doesn't know, the many secrets that we keep.
If we look on the inside, many benefits we'll reap.

It amazes me, that the "beautiful", don't see their worth.
If we only took the time, we'd see its merriment and mirth.
We are all equals, and have been, since the day of our birth.

Even the ones, who we have deemed simply the best.
It's their souls that are damaged, they are like all the rest.
The constant need to change for others, is what we request.

We are all packaged by God, he made us all so very differently.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it's what we choose to see.
So look on the inside, at my soul, to see the true beauty of me.
