Summer Days

Summer days are drifting away, oh those times I remember well.
Friends and lovers all around, all those faces I recall.
Time goes fast, life is like a train that keeps on moving.
Never knowing when it's going to stop, so the summer days is all I have.

Put me in your frames of life you know I've got you in my heart.
Never ever going to leave you, cause you know I am always thinking of you.

The summer days are drifting away, call me the breeze let me be the one fly on through.
I see my life as I take each step, but all I see is you…tell me how much you love me?

All I can feel is that summer breeze coming my way, oh I remember those times very well.
I recall the moments we had, oh I remember those times.

Sun is shining and when it sinks low, we are together…you know I won't ever forget you.
But now I see your smile in my head and your laughter was like an everlasting memory that will never die.

Summer days are drifting away, but call me the breeze and let me fly on through.
Now I know I've been here with you, I will always be around for you.

Max Hornbogen

My name is Max D. Hornbogen and I live in Marquette Michigan all my life. When I started writing it was during my brothers graduation from high school. I really don't know the year. Now I am 22 years old, while I was growing up my dad died in a car accident during the winter. Some of my pomes are about him, a lot of my others ones are personal. Most of them deal with everyday life and the struggles that I deal with. Also some of them are kind of dark, but I do have a wide variety of everything. The one thing that I love the most out of my writing is that it is an outlet, it's like my own world. I get to say whatever I want. I love music of all kinds, also it's another reason I love writing my poems. I always study lyrics by other music artist that are out there. Also I got to have music on while I write my poems.I have been writing 5 years so far more…
