The 36th Parallel

Time does not heal all wounds
elasticity of time helps to cope
denial, acceptance, and acknowlegdement
all intertwined
realization that something no longer exists
memories linger on...
at times, cerebrating is a slow process
a heart murmur flustering the flesh
neurotransmitters plowing through blockades
detachment-- guilt in disguise
authentic strength soaring through the soul
headed for a crash landing-- pilot error
heart, mind, and spirit at battle
who will win the war?
no winner in this rehearsed scenario
interrogation between allies
words filling the heart
words scarring the mind
knowledge scattering the brain
the strain of unbreakable codes
