The Bipolar Poet

Ladies, never fret or fear,
The Bipolar Poet is here.
He will pen his way into your heart,
And promise with a word or rhyme,
To never ever leave or never to part!
He will win your soul with a poem,
And then show from the darkness,
Why he chooses to be alone.
Then running the emotional gamut,
He will twist you around with his finger,
And twirl your head like a spinning top.
When you see him, know he is hubristic,
It has become his nature to act so,
When he writes, when he walks,
When he loves, and when he talks.
He is The Alchemist in search of his love,
The treasure of a lifetime found in her eyes,
Which no one on earth can deny.
A dreamer? Yes, he follows his dreams,
As misguided as that may be, he is lost,
In the clouds of his sleep as he lies!
He knows that dreams do not come true,
So he sits down to write out his thoughts.
For the pretense of talking about love,
The insipid devise that is meant to deceive,
All who would fall prey to such fantasies,
The Devil's tool for fooling all of mankind!
But then he turns around and writes,
A poem so sweet it makes your heart melt.
And you are once again in love with him,
Not knowing that he is the Bipolar Poet!
