Thoughts of Reflection

How can you say you care, when in a moment of need or despair
You pretend to go deaf and turn your back?
Neglecting that need of your support maybe what's at lack.

Why bother making statements, remarks, or gestures, you really don't mean?
Because at a moment of truth we are all faced with the reality that things and people aren't just as they seem.

Why treat another individual as a burden, the moment they need your guidance or assistance?
Do you forget one day you'll need the same, and in return get the same treatment & resistance?

How can you seek empathy and compassion?
Meanwhile, you show no sympathy, you treat others in such a bad fashion.

Are you really that ignorant and think that to sickness, suffering & pain you are immune?
Maybe at this moment you might be, however please remember things rapidly change & do not always stay attuned.

Why sit here and reflect on such negative facts?
Because sadly enough at one point or another this a how we all act!
