Vitality's Discourse

The day screams mortality across love
as windows break in these eyes of bleak hope,
prayers go unanswered as cold air shatters
songs of yesterday into a thousand
buttered battlefields; hearts exposed again.
Dirty coloured rants explode into sighs
while this blue-black and white parchment withers
with the times of vitality's discourse,
and another periodic breath slips
across youth's exceptional clarity.
It's now the end of pleasure's performance,
there's nobody to hear the vibrations,
the agility that wrapped intellect
into strange cosmic shapes of invention,
photographic songs lose complexity.
