Your sunflower

You said I was your sunflower
Because I always make you smile
So why could our love never grow
Was I too volatile ?

You said I had the most beautiful eyes
Your feelings looked so deep
But you tarnished our love with so many lies
You made those brown eyes weep

You asked me to never forget you
As you walked away with her
You told me, you miss me, you love me
But just keep on walking further

I said I'll always love you
As crazy as that seems
I'll wait for you in my favorite place
I'll meet you in my dreams
