Earth Connection

How do you connect to Nature?
Does she send power through your feet?
Is it the food that Earth provides for us?
Do you connect with what you eat?

Tell me friend, when was the last time
You laid your hands upon the Earth
And with loving touch and gratitude
You expressed how much she's worth

How do you connect to Nature?
Have you ever hugged a tree?
Let your pressures slowly dwindle
And just allow yourself to be

How do you connect to others?
Are they mostly through your phone?
Do these interactions leave you feeling full
When you're sitting on your own?

And when you're feeling lonely
How do you connect with yourself?
Do you follow any practices
To fill your soul with loving wealth?

This life craves deep connection
It's in everything we see
The trees, the bees, all living things
Live in a balanced harmony

So let yourself connect
To our planet, our creator
Because the one connection we all share
Is our home in Mother Nature

This is lovely, and so positive. It was good to find such a refreshing poem among the many grim things about earth on this site. You obviously have a deep appreciation for our beautiful world, as do I.

May I leave you with a wonderful promise from our creator - to reverse the damage that mankind has done to the earth? -

"God will bring to ruin those ruining the earth" - Revelation 11.18

    Have a good day.
