Hi there! My name’s Ali, and I’m a 16-year-old aspiring poet and author hoping not only to do well here, but to receive effective feedback and constructive criticism on my work so that I may further hone my craft. I’ve been published before by a competition before, namely The Power of Poetry, which is nice. I’d say that my writing tends to explore society through a lens often much neglected and much maligned: the queer lens. I intend to fulfill my purpose as a writer and start a conversation; I cannot wait to read your submissions! I’m sure you will all be amazing!
