I am a 43 year old woman who loves to write poetry, sing, and spend time with my family. I have never been married and do not have children, but I have been blessed with a 14 year old nephew and a n 11 year old niece who I adore and love to spend time with and spoil. I also have my mother and sister who I love and lots of extended family! I like to cook and help others. I used to work for the American Red Cross as a Phlebotomist and in several different nursing homes, working with Alzheimer's patients. I love to go to church and I am very spiritual. I have been through several ups and downs in life, but I'm still here! I believe in love and I also believe that anyone can obtain joy, even out of depression. I have been diagnosed with lupus, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease; however, I am an optimistic person who loves life, and EVERYTHING that comes with it!
